Mission:
The purpose of this foundation is to educate and be a resource for those in need of help. Whether it be you personally, a family member, a friend or an acquaintance, we are here to help. If you or someone you know is suffering from depression or contemplating suicide, please seek immediate help.

  • May 2 -- Annual "Into the Light" 5K/2K Run and 2K fun Walk
    Lots of events for the kids planned....

  • UPDATE:  Unfortunately, the Into the Light 5K and Walking on Sunshine, Running for Hope 1 Mile Fun Run had to be cancelled due to thunderstorms. We look forward to the 2010 event: this day is always a lot of fun. Please make plans to join us. The Elliott Foundation appreciates everyone’s continued support for our mission.

  • September 26 -- Annual Dinner in celebration of Dr. Elliott's life River Boat Cruise and Dancing on the Arkansas Queen

  • October 9 -- National Depression Screening Day
    Statewide site locations to be announced

  • November 22 -- National Survivors of Suicide Day

We invite you to visit the Elliott Section White County Library, Searcy, Arkansas. We have provided over 50 books for public use on the subject of the disease of depression and suicide prevention.
